Measure workload, attention and physiology alongside the flight, so the debrief can show how hard the student was working, where they were looking, and what led to each error. Everything is processed on this computer: no video, picture or raw signal is kept or sent anywhere, only the derived numbers for the debrief. Use only with the student's consent (a parent's or guardian's for a minor).

Chest straps (Polar, Garmin, Wahoo) give heart rate and HRV. Watches: Garmin with Broadcast Heart Rate on; Apple Watch and Samsung need a heart-rate broadcasting app. Watches usually send heart rate only, without HRV. Chrome or Edge.
Open the system checkVoices, eye tracking, heart rate, smoothness and the PDF report, with pass/fail results.

Marked on the Transport Canada 4-point scale (Flight Test Guide PPL, TP 13723): each item gets the mark of its weakest element. A 1 on any item would fail a flight test. The performance score (0 to 100) shows how close to the targets you flew; the 4-point mark is the flight-test standard.

Lower sensitivity spreads the response over more of the stick's travel; higher makes it quicker. The response curve softens the middle for fine corrections and keeps full authority at the stops. The dead zone ignores small movements around the centre.
